T10 4G Mobile Hotspot FAQ
Click on a question below to reveal the answer.
◆ I am experiencing consistently slow internet/download speeds on my T-Mobile T10 hotspot. Can you check if my account is being throttled?▾
Thank you for your interest in a Franklin Access product! We are strictly the equipment/hardware manufacturer and do not have visibility or access to your cellular service provider account. Because connection slowdowns or account throttling are service-related matters rather than hardware defects, we highly recommend contacting T-Mobile support directly to review your plan details and network tower connectivity.
◆ I reset the admin password on my hotspot and forgot it. How can I regain access?▾
Thank you for your interest in a Franklin Access product! If you have forgotten your custom password, you can revert the hotspot back to its factory default configurations. While the unit is fully powered on, remove the back cover and locate the small hardware reset button near the battery chamber. Press and hold this button down briefly to trigger the system restore. Once initialized, the device will return to its original settings, and you can log back into the web user interface using the standard default admin password: admin.
◆ How do I find my admin password for the Franklin T10 if it isn't listed on the device sticker or box?▾
Thank you for your interest in a Franklin Access product! The default factory admin password to access the web user interface (http://mobile.hotspot) for the T10 model is simply the lowercase word: admin.
If this default password does not work, it means it was previously customized. You can revert it back to factory defaults by keeping the hotspot powered on, removing the back cover, and pressing the small reset button located next to the battery compartment. This will restore the default "admin" password immediately.

◆ I just bought the device and the default password doesn't work. Additionally, the physical RESET button isn't doing anything. How can I reset it?▾
The default login password for this device is admin. If that is not being accepted on a newly acquired unit, the credentials may have been altered previously. Typically, we recommend using the physical reset button located beneath the back cover near the battery compartment to perform a factory restore.
If pressing this hardware button yields no results, it is highly likely that the physical reset functionality was explicitly disabled within the advanced management settings beforehand. Aside from using the physical button, the only other available method to restore the hotspot to factory defaults is by successfully logging into the internal web management interface. Unfortunately, if both access paths are locked out, there is no alternative workaround to bypass these security protocols.
